Sašo and Alja invite you to ...

Rural Made Simple  2022 . . .

August 19 - 21, 2022 • Veržej, Slovenia

RMS is a meeting of friends that do not count hours spent on the dance floor but enjoy spending time together instead. RMS will not leave you exhausted but will let you sleep when it's time to rest.

At RMS we won't make you register in a couple, as a matter of fact, we won't make you register at all! Come and dance with us if you like the concept but don't forget to book your bed in advance. And don't forget you are responsible for role balance as well!

We also offer a couple of short classes. You don't need a partner for these, and to register, you simply put your name on the list at the venue. More info here.

  • Friday:
    • 21:00 - 01:00: milonga, DJ Tomaž Leskovšek
  • Saturday:
    • 12:00 - 13:00: class "Elegance and Fluidity", by Melina
    • 14:00 - 19:00: milonga, DJ Melina
  • Sunday:
    • 11:00 - 12:00: class "Yoga and bodywork for tango", by Melina (cancelled)
    • 13:00 - 18:00: milonga, DJ Hans Leutscher

  • Book your room at the milonga venue directly with Marko in Veržej. The number of rooms is limited, so we kindly ask you to share the room with *at least* one person. Remember that accommodation includes breakfast and dinner. You can book the meals at the venue even if you stay elsewhere; again, write to Marko.
  • Veržej and the surrounding area offer several other accommodation options (Google is your friend). The Banovci spa resort is one that is unlikely to run out of rooms. You can book the meals at the venue even if you stay elsewhere.

Price (for milongas): voluntary contributions.

Registration: again, none. But we'd be happy if you dropped us a line (over email of Facebook) that you're coming, so that we have a rough idea of how many dancers to expect. Alja: Alja Ferme, alja@milonguera.si, Sašo: Sašo Živanović, saso@milonguero.si.

RMS follows our Tango holidays with Alja & Sašo – Summer 2022.

COVID unfortunately makes things a bit less simple. We respect and implement all the government regulations and recommendations — but impose none of our own.
